Convertible Pony Tail Hat

As promised in my last post, here is the convertible hat I’ve been making multiples of.

The pattern can be found here: http://www.goddesscrochet.com/2015/02/27/ponytail-hat-neckwarmer-free-crochet-pattern/

The pictures are of the first one I made, using whatever yarn I had lying around, to test out the pattern. It has a drawstring in the top and can be worn three different ways: with the drawstring fully open for a cowl, drawstring partially closed to allow a bun or ponytail to poke out, and fully closed as a regular hat.

I think it turned out quite well and I’ve made several since. No one would guess that the hat has a white band because I ran out of green. 😉

Happy New Year!

I am alive 🙂 and I will post more often now that the holiday madness and new year drama are over. Part of the reason it’s taken me so long to get a new post up is that I’ve been having a hard time deciding what to post first. I’ve been pretty busy lately you see… So I figure I’ll start off with the Christmas present I couldn’t post earlier.

First, we have the 4th Doctor’s scarf:

Next is the blanket for my daughter:

A Star Wars themed pillow for my son:

A convertible hat for my God-daughter:

And a hat and scarf for my mother-in-law:

That’s about it for Christmas presents. Next post: more about that convertible hat.
