My Latest Doll + A Dress Pattern

Here is my latest doll. I posted her as one of my works in progress last month. It took just a little bit longer to finish her than I was hoping but she’s done now. She doesn’t have a name yet as that will be up to her recipient.

Her dress is made the same way as Alice’s and I’ve finally written out a pattern for it. The pattern is posted below the picture. It is also available as a PDF download on Ravelry.

If you try it out and find any errors please let me know. I try to make them as accurate as possible but I know what I mean to do so… J

Hook size: 3mm or 3.5 mm (if the doll was made with a 2.5mm hook, use a 3mm hook for the dress. If the doll was made with a 3mm hook, use a 3.5mm hook for the dress)

Yarn, yarn, and more yarn

Today I picked up an awesome find. A box full of free yarn. There were so a couple of crochet hooks and a set of knitting needles in it.

Most of the yarn is a bit scratchier than I normally buy but I should be able to soften it up after making something out of it. Now I just have to figure out what to make…

Speaking of figuring out what to make, I also have this:

A giant ball of pumpkin orange mill ends that wouldn’t let me leave Michaels without it. Anyone have any idea what to make with it? I made a couple of dice bags but that could get old really quickly and they really don’t take much yarn…
